MICHAEL KOBINA AYENSAH, PEM.ADR

Michael, h o l d s a Professional Executive Masters in Appropriate Dispute Resolution(ADR)and is a certified PULSE-ADR Practitioner(Delta) from Gamey and Gamey ADR Institute.

He also holds an MPhil in Development Studies with a specialization in Development Finance with Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Geography. Michael has undertaken training in Community Driven Development with the World Bank Institute and been involved in community and NGO work.

As the Assistant Registrar of Akrofi-Christaller Memorial Centre for Mission Research and Applied Theology (ACMC). Michael, was part of the team that worked to transform the Centre to become the first private University in Ghana to gain a full Presidential Charter in 2006 awarding its own degrees and the name changed to Akrofi- Christaller Institute (ACI) for Theology, Mission and Culture. Michael was then appointed the first Director for Institutional Development where he became the face of the Institute, relating directly with all the stakeholders of the Institute.

Having developed a deep interest in issues of Gospel and Culture and he undertook a Master Arts degree in Theology and Missions with a specialisation in African Christianity. His research interest in these studies was the exploration of the significance of the identification of the Christian God with the God component of Traditional African cosmology.

In the year 2020, Michael was nominated and installed as the Omankrado of Agona Nyakrom, and his major interests are in the area of Children and Youth Development through mentorship, coaching and advocacy.
